Frequently Asked Questions

How do deposits and balances work?

Deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Balance is due at the completion of the session or event. Should Megan need to cancel, your deposit will be refunded unless you choose to reschedule your session.

Where do shoots take place?​

This depends on the type of photoshoot. If you're booking headshots, they will either be taken outdoors, your office, my home or your home. Any other portrait session will be done outdoors or will require the client to book a space through Peerspace.

What is the turnaround time on the photos after the photoshoot?​

Turnaround time is roughly 10-15 business days for portraits, so please BOOK ACCORDINGLY! You will receive proofs within 48 business hours of your shoot. You have 2 days to choose your proofs, or I will choose the best photos for you! This is done as to not hold up my workflow with working on multiple clients' edits at the same time. Turnaround time starts when you've chosen the proofs​. Turnaround time is 30-45 business days for wedding photos.] 

What kind of photoshoots do you do?​

Headshots & events mostly. Mainly because I don't have a designated studio space right now. But I do still find a way to shoot family sessions and other portrait sessions all year long, with my clients that are willing to do outdoor shoots! 

Other things to note!​

  • ​Please DO NOT bring extra people with you.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be charged a $20 fee. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your shoot will be canceled and you will need to reschedule. If you do not show up for a shoot that was booked and you don't let me know, you will not be able to book with me in the future.

  • If your session goes over more than 15 minutes, you will be charged a $20 fee.

  • There is a $100 additional fee for any "emergency" or last minute bookings, booked within 5 days of the day of the shoot/event.

  • Additional location is $75 and must be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.

  • Any unpaid or unresolved invoices will be voided by the end of the month, and your photos will be discarded.
